Do I have to make an upfront payment to avail a personal loan from axio?
Under no circumstances should you pay upfront to avail a loan. This is a misleading tactic used by scammers to defraud you. Do I get a higher/additional personal loan amount instantly if I foreclose my existing loan with axio?
axio does not provide loans instantly pursuant to the foreclosure of an existing personal loan. Instead,you have to adhere to the loan procedures afresh, which involves submitting of a new set of documents and subject to meeting specific criteria before a fresh loan can be disbursed. Please be cautious of unauthorised individuals who may urge you to foreclose a loan in order to obtain a higher loan amount instantly. This is also one of the ways of misleading and attempting to defraud you of your hard earned money. We strongly urge you to not fall prey to such traps, false claims or scams.

How do I tell the difference between a fake axio website and an authentic one?
Our website, "www.axio.co.in", is both authentic and secure. There is no other website hosted by axio other than the one aforementioned. Does axio charge anything for loan processing through its field agents?
axio field executives are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of the information you provide in your loan application. They do not seek / collect any money either for themselves / on our behalf from you during the verification process. Do I, as a customer, need to make payments to axio executives through Google Pay, Paytm, or any other UPI app during the loan application process?
Yes, we do have cash collection services, but only for accounts where the EMIs are due or overdue, based on customer requests. In case of cash collection, you will receive an e-receipt immediately which is OTP based. For online collection, we send secured payment links exclusively through SMS or WhatsApp messages from our secure handles, and not from private mobile numbers.

How do I identify a genuine message or link shared by axio?
Genuine axio messages will only come from axio handles i.e., which mentions only a username and not from 10-digit mobile numbers. It is important that you accept links only from these handles. Any link from sources other than an axio handle is likely to be fraudulent.

How do I know if the field executive I’m interacting with is a genuine employee of axio?
Our field executives will interact with customers in two instances - prior to loan disbursal and during collections. Before disbursing a loan to a customer's bank account, a field agent will visit to verify the address provided. This is done to ensure that the customer is residing at the given address. The agent visiting the address will hold an axio ID card and will only carry out verification. It is important to note that if the agent requests money or asks for any documents, you should not entertain them and immediately contact the below given number / email.
In case a customer misses paying their EMIs for a certain period and is not contactable, we will send a collection agent to collect the overdue amount. Our collection agents typically emphasize paying via a link, but they also accept cash. If the customer opts to make a cash payment then the field executive must generate an OTP-based e-receipt immediately. A legitimate axio collection agent will call before visiting the customer's given address or any other location as may be updated by the customer, carry an axio ID card, and not demand more than the overdue amount.

I have received messages stating that the interest rate on my loan has increased / that I am eligible for a top up on my existing loan/ I will become eligible for a higher loan if i foreclose my existing loan etc. How do I verify this?
axio will only send loan top up or rate of interest increase messages from its official handles and not from any 10 digit mobile numbers. We never request money over the phone / calls or we do not send out mobile numbers / bank account numbers requesting for payments. Instead, we will always send a payment link via messages from our official handles.
